Hi, I’m Tonya!
I would like to share a little about myself. I am a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, raised in Central Illinois. I am a wife and a stepmother, and my passion is to help others discover their faith and true identity. I find joy in encouraging others through biblical principles.
In my free time, I enjoy watching my stepson play baseball, spending quality moments with my family, and engaging in community outreach, prayer, and prophetic ministry. I also love hiking, playing tennis, and of course visiting the spa for a little self-care from time to time.
I have discovered through personal experience with chronic illness that self-care is essential for our overall well-being. Our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical bodies are all interconnected. We must care for ourselves so we can serve others well. Let's connect to see how I can help you on your life journey!
Mission and Vision
The heart behind Voice of A Dove, LLC…
This vision was placed on my heart by the Lord over 12 years ago. At that time, I had no idea it would evolve into a business, but after taking one obedient step after another, here I am. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and cannot wait to see the lives He will touch through the services and events offered.
Navigating my own life journey one step at a time has not been easy, but it has been worth it. The struggles I have faced have strengthened my faith and brought me closer to my Savior, Jesus. Through each step of obedience, the Lord has led me to become a Christian & Strengths Life Coach, encouraging others by His Spirit.
Having a voice like a dove means using your voice to build the Kingdom of God. It involves speaking up for the injustices that matter to God, even if the truth you speak is met with hostility from those around you. It is about speaking from a place of love and gentleness, meeting people where they are rather than where you think they should be. The dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit, the Advocate sent by God the Father to believers after Jesus ascended into Heaven (John 14).
The mission and vision of this business is to equip women and business professionals with the tools they need to flourish in everyday life. I want to help others uncover their true identity in Christ so they can discover their God-given voice. My goal is to uplift others, guiding them to recognize their strengths while reducing life stress. We cannot accomplish all that God has for us if we don't understand our purpose for the current season or if we are so distracted and stressed that we lack the capacity to fulfill it.
Take a moment to imagine yourself sitting on a swing with Jesus. What is He saying to you? What might He be inviting you to consider? Do you have a sense of this, or do you need to take time to explore with the Lord what He wants for you in this season of your life?
To hear the still, small voice of God, you must pause long enough for Him to respond. Too often, we pray on the go. We ask the Lord questions, but if we don’t receive an answer within a few seconds, we either ask another question or move on to the next task. If we're honest, this happens to all of us, and in some seasons, it becomes our regular response. This pattern can lead to a superficial and lifeless prayer life. Sometimes, God may not answer a prayer until we have responded to or acted on what He has already communicated to us. Hearing God's voice is a lifelong practice that requires intentionality in developing the habit of listening in our lives.
Coaching can help you achieve your goals spiritually, relationally, mentally, emotionally, physically, and even professionally. Whether you are struggling to keep everything together or facing challenging life situations, I would love to assist you in finding your voice by discovering your strengths and reducing stress.
I encourage you to embrace, endure, and engage in all that God has for you by listening to the voice of the dove and being a voice for the dove.

I am a Christian Life Coach practicing virtually (in-person may be available upon request). I hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in communications from Eureka College. I have worked in various roles that support career development and event coordination. I am certified as a Christian Life Coach through Light University and have earned the credentials as a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPLC) from the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC), who maintain the highest clinical, ethical and biblical standards of practice. My coaching skills continue with a certification as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach through CliftonStrengths.
